BIRTHDAY!

My birthday is tomorrow!
And I haven't posted on this blog forever, so here's a MASSIVE UPDATE!

Scribblenauts- 6/10, okay, but should have been released later to work on control issues, more interaction, sentences, and more. Hopefully this will be fixed with the confirmed release of the next Scribblenauts game.

I just got Prince of Persia: Sands of Time a few days ago. To me, it seems awfully good but I'm a little disappointed with the lack of different looking environments. I guess I'm to used to Mario games.

If you want to create posts on this blog, just comment or contact me!
We can be like, partners or something.
So yah. On a new subject;
SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2 IS COMING OUT THIS YEAR!

Heard some things about it such as it was originally going to be sort of a Super Mario Galaxy remake (Deluxe Edition?), but there were so many things they wanted to change and add, they just made a sequel. But I don't know that for sure.

Trust me, go get Galaxy 1 right now if you like any sort of platforming games. I didn't really like it at first, but it got better. Although I'm the type that usually really enjoys the hated games of the series like Mario Sunshine, and from Sonic, Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic DX, I can assure you that this is a good game.

Also, my YouTube has over 30 subscribers :P and I have over 30,000 views on one of my videos! Check it out now at

Scribblenauts is an epic sandbox game where you can complete various missions with a very awesome feature: Writing words which will then appear on the top screen as items, animals, or even GOD!

Bob's Game (This is nuts!!!)

I hope you guys have heard of the mysterious "bob"...
Well, he's basically this crazy game developer, except, he's really not, he is just playing the role of "bob" from the game woh is crazy, but the Bob in real life is a good person, and this is a game about a game....

I am aware that didn't make any sense...
Just watch the video!

Voting: Mega Man Poll

Wow! Thanks for voting on our poll!
I didn't know so many people liked Zero so much!
Well, if anyone hasn't voted, be sure to do so soon!

My Holiday Game Reviews

I'm going to start with Sonic Unleashed, which many people have been really hyped up about.
Please note that I have not finished it

Sonic Unleashed: 7.5/10, B

It has some nice looking cutscenes, but the story sucks. The opening scene is great!
Story: 7/10

Sweet daytime levels, crappy night levels. To sum it up, the daytime levels are like traditional Sonic games that switch from 2D to 3D, and the night/Werehog levels are slow paced platformer 3D beat em' up type levels. The night stages suck so much this part gets two seperate ratings.
Daytime: 9/10, Night: 5/10

The controls are fine, but I've only tested Wii Remote and GC controller. Nothing out of the ordinary here, except for a few flaws, such as the dashing technique. Still, the slow paced Werehog controls bring this down a point.
Controls: 7.5/10

Okay sound, the voice acting for Chip is kind of weird though...... Sometimes he sounds old and sometimes he sounds young....
Sound: 8/10

The graphics are kind of flaky and weird looking sometimes, but that might be because I have an ancient TV.... The village people look creepy though...
Graphics: 7.5/10

OVERALL: It's an okay game, but try to avoid those Night stages!!!!

Noe: I have the Wii version of the game.

Regarding Mega Man

Okay, if you want more info about mega man go to the mega man wiki (HERE). Also I have a request for Andy: Can you make a new poll for "which is your favorite mega man series?", because you didn't add the zx series (which is my favorite). Also also, not to brag or anything, I've beaten both of the zx games. Siarnaq all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mega Man (original series)

WARNING!: This post may contain spoilers!!!

Since Joe just made a post about "Biometal" from the Megaman ZX branch of the series, in this post I will start to discuss the original Megaman games.

As I usually start with the characters, here they are!

The Team of Light Labs (story and character)
Dr. Light: One of the creators of "Mega Man". He worked alongside Dr. Wily and they founded "Light Labs" together. Robots created for household services by this team-up were seen as common enemies in the Mega Man games(for example, the Mettool as seen above). Later, they created Protoman who was (without going into much detail) a failure.
After this failure, the team created more robots: Mega, Roll, and the Robot Masters.
Dr. Wily was jealous and angry that Light got all the credit, so he decided to rebel and attempt to take over the world! He reprogrammed the Robot Masters so they would be vicious robots that only obeyed him! Mega said he would stop Dr. Wily, and he would fight! Light converted him into a fighting robot, turning him (oddly enough, his name was changed only to have "man" at the end) into Megaman!
Fun Facts: Dr. Light's Japanese name is "Right", and this is because there is no "L" character in Japanese, and is usually replaced with "R".
His Battle Network counterpart is Tadashi Hikari, Lan Hikari's grandfather.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

A new Turtles game is coming out for the Wii!
Why am I so excited?
Well, it's because it actually looks like the best Turtles game in a long time, and maybe even one of the best overall games in a while!
It's very early in development though, and it doesn't have a name, but it's aiming for a 2009 release. The screens show it to be similar to Smash Bros., but looks way more interactive!
It has some awesome graphics, and is not really based off of any incarnation of the Turtles.

Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice/Ace Attorney

The Ace Attorney series of games are really fun! They are mainly focused on the defense attorney Phoenix Wright, and some cases that were important in his "life". The first case in the first game which is called "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney" is only about a half hour long, but it helps introduce you to the concept of the game.

Here's an basic overview of what you do (not in any specific order).
1. Search a crime scene
2. Talk to suspects
3. Defend someone in court and look for things in witnesses testimonies (what the saw happen) that don't make sense

It sounds boring, but it's actually really fun!
Here's a demo of the fourth game. It doesn't spoil you really about the other games, but besides this demo, make sure to play the games in order!

PS: The games are rated T, and I've only played two of them, the first and last ones.
